Open Call: Curators for Gallery Wall Projects in Wynwood (Miami)

We are excited to announce an Open Call for Curators to propose exhibition concepts for our gallery wall at our art space in Wynwood, Miami.

This opportunity is open to independent curators, curatorial collectives, and art professionals who are interested in developing thoughtful, visually engaging, and conceptually strong presentations in a gallery wall format.

Our goal is to support curatorial voices that create dialogue — between artists, artworks, and the community — and to bring new energy to the Wynwood art ecosystem through rotating projects.

About the Space

Our gallery wall is located in the heart of Wynwood:

📍 2333 NW 8 Ave, Miami, FL

We welcome proposals that respond to the neighborhood, contemporary culture, current social conversations, or purely visual/formal experimentation. The wall can be activated as a curated exhibition, a thematic presentation, a rotating project, or a collaborative concept.

Who Can Apply

This Open Call is open to:

Emerging curators
Mid-career and established curators
Curatorial collectives
Art professionals with a clear curatorial proposal

We strongly encourage proposals that are inclusive, well-researched, and grounded in a strong point of view.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking curatorial concepts that are:

Visually cohesive and strong in presentation
Conceptually clear and compelling
Feasible to install and execute
Designed to engage the public and spark conversation

The format can be flexible — from traditional exhibition-style presentation to experimental wall concepts — as long as the proposal is well structured and realistic.

Submission Requirements

To apply, please submit:

1) Curatorial Proposal (500–1,000 words)
Include:

Exhibition concept and title (if available)
Curatorial statement
Suggested artists or type of work
Why the proposal fits this wall and this neighborhood

2) Curator CV or Bio (1–2 pages)

3) Visual References / Mockups (optional but encouraged)
This can include past projects, reference images, or a simple layout sketch.

4) Programming Ideas (optional)
If relevant, include ideas for:

An opening reception
Artist talk or curator talk
Community engagement moment
